"This morning, I saw a kingfisher watching a salmon, no doubt eyeing up its next meal. That's very special, and will be something to tell my grandchildren. I urge anyone to come and have a look"
"It's an absolutely fantastic site, and a local treasure. It contains most of the natural habitats and systems found in Devon. You would have to travel over 20 miles between sites to see them elsewhere - if you don't have the time to do that, then come to Lopwell Dam and see them all here within walking distance of each other, in an afternoon."

"Thank you for letting us go along the walkway. It was fantastic my friend Emma nearly fell in. When we went to the fresh pond that was class because it had loads of pond skaters. My best bit was the fishing"
